Russians may launch a liner with a casino on the route St. Petersburg – Kaliningrad

The governor of St. Petersburg invited the governor of the Kaliningrad region to take part in the launch of the regional cruise liner. According to the project, a casino will be aboard. The head of the committee on tourism development believes, there will be no problems with shipping in the winter season: it will be an ice-resistant vessel.

St. Petersburg will send Kaliningrad a draft agreement, so that officials evaluate it from an economic point of view.

The governor of the Kaliningrad region stressed that the region is interested in such a project. Despite the fact that the number of travelers increases by 15% annually, cruise liners stay here rarely because of the lack of proper infrastructure.

The Governor of the Primorsky Krai previously invited investors of the gambling zone Primorye to buy a cruise liner, set the casino on board and use it as a gaming complex afloat.
