The head of the Primorye offered investors of the gambling zone to open a floating casino

On January 21, the acting governor of the Primorye Region Andrey Tarasenko met with the organizers of the Primorye gambling zone. The parties talked about the plans regarding the construction works and creation of new workplaces for residents of the region.

Eric Landheer, top manager at Summit Ascent (owner of Tigre de Cristal casino), provided the following statistics: around 1,000 local people work at the hotel owned by the company. Taking into account related spheres (transport, food services), the figure reaches 4,000 people. Moreover, that is not the limit. Landheer reported that the company would be expanding its presence in the integrated entertainment resort Primorye.

Investors also told the acting governor about the plans to establish a labor union of gambling companies. It will be a professional association intended to protect the interests of investors and to realize a number of social initiatives. It is expected that all companies operating in the Primorye gambling zone would join the association. The chairman of the board of directors of Diamond Fortune Holdings Prim Sergey Sidorov will become the head of the new organization.

In their turn, officials of the region suggested to investors that they buy and use a cruiser under co-financing terms to open a casino on its board. Investors characterized the offering as a promising one and said they were ready to evaluate risks and benefits of the project.
