FUR signs agreement with SRO of bookmakers

The Football Union of Russia (FUR) has signed a partnership agreement with all members of the self-regulatory organization Association of Bookmakers.

The partnership agreement was concluded based on the new law, according to which bookmakers have to regularly allocate money to local sports. Now, eight companies that comprise the SRO of bookmakers will invest a part of their income in the development of the Russian football.

The head of the SRO Darina Denisova notes that all betting shops offer bets on football as that’s the most popular sport in Russia. Therefore, the collaboration with the FUR was a necessary condition of legal operation.
