Promotion of betting through children’s competitions is a shame: Artem Dziuba
The Russian footballer Artem Dziuba stated that accepting bets on games played by children is a shame. Moreover, such activities trigger definite fears.
He argues that instead of quality training of footballers, many coaches think only about their team’s victory as it influences their salaries and position.
Dziuba says that often older boys from other cities join teams. Those who physically cannot be on a par with them get lost. That’s a huge problem in the children’s football, which is hard to eliminate. As a result, those who work hard and achieve success are often rebuked. And it’s considered to be normal.
Currently, the State Duma of the RF is considering a draft law, which stipulates the ban imposed on betting companies in respect to betting on children’s tournaments.
