Putin signs law on the deductions in bookmaking

V. Putin endorsed the law on 5%-deductions in bookmaking for the benefit of sports organizations.

The document have been approved earlier by the Federation Council.

According to the document, bookmakers should donate 5% of their revenues to support professional and junior sports organizations.

The estimated amount of revenues will be at least 15 million rubles quarterly.

By April 1st, the Government will have to approve rules on determining fees calculation. Deputy Prime Minister V. Mutko will soon hold a meeting with bookmakers to clarify details of the law.
