President of the First SRO commented on entrance of Bwin on the Russian market

Yuriy Krasovskiy, president of the First SRO of bookmakers, commented on the entrance of the foreign brand Bwin on the domestic market of bookmaking services. He is convinced that the new big player will positively affect the betting community of the country.

According to the expert, this is not the first attempt of foreign bookmaker to work in Russia and the new ambitious market participant does not frighten him, but rather encourages.

“It means that in the recent years, risks in Russia have been substantially reduced: the market began to be regulated normally,” Krasovskiy said.

He also added that competition among bookmakers, like in any other sector, gives all participants the incentive for further growth and improvement.

As for the forecasts for Bwin and its successes in Russia, the expert believes: one shouldn’t expect a quick and resounding start. The company will need to make efforts to prove itself well, as well as to show that it has quite high quotes.
