Costa neoRomantica with an onboard casino to cruise in the Far East
Costa neoRomantica cruise ship will connect Vladivostok and Asian countries. While enjoying a marine journey, passengers will be offered catering, gyms, bars as well as a casino.
Currently, the projected schedule of the liner includes several itineraries: 7-day (with boarding in Tokyo) and 12-day (with boarding in Vladivostok). The first one is called ‘Far East Duet’. The cruise will go to Tokyo, Hakone-Fuji, Kamakura, Kyoto, and Vladivostok.
Costa neoRomantica will set off on a cruise in May 2019. The fare will range from $900 to $2000 depending on a travel class.
Roscomnadzor forces Google to delete links to online casinos in search results
The Russian Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Media (Roscomnadzor) has filed a lawsuit against Google for its refusal to register banned websites, including online casino resources.
The Russian law stipulates that the blacklisted resources of Roscomnadzor should not only be banned by Internet providers but also taken out of search results. This is supposed to prevent users from entering such websites via anonymizers and VPN.
In 2018, Roscomnadzor intensified its actions in terms of blocking websites containing banned information. It includes online casinos and unlicensed betting resources.
Diamond Fortune Primorye casino to open in September 2020
Russian casino operator Diamond Fortune Holdings says it plans to open its new casino in Primorye gaming zone in September 2020.
Diamond Fortune broke ground on the project in June 2017. At that time, CEO Thomas Gibbons said the company would likely outlay $220 m on the project’s first phase. It will be divided into A and B phases, with the casino being built first at a cost of $70 m.
Currently, Gibbons comments that Selena resort & casino would cost about $900 m.
Hong Kong investors are offered to invest in Primorye gambling zone
One of the largest international marketing organizations the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) has considered the investment attractiveness of Primorye gambling zone.
“Currently, in Primorye, only one of the four gambling zones works. We plan its extension in terms of entertaining and recreating options on two allotments of 20 ha each. We are also ready to have talks with Hong Kong investors concerning their participation in the project,” claims Director of the Department of Tourism of Primorsky Krai Konstantin Shestakov.
HKTDC representatives agreed upon a high potential of the proposed investment projects and cooperation directions.
Investor in Yantarnaya gambling zone faces difficulties
As reported by Vice Prime Minister of the Kaliningrad region government Harry Goldman, the principal investor in Yantarnaya gambling zone is now facing difficulties.
“We are currently in talks concerning the project fulfillment. The key investor is now facing difficulties, but we will conduct a dialog in order to get the ball rolling. The construction of a resort complex around the casino is not discussed. We are currently working with a gambling zone only,” comments the expert.
