Legislative Changes for Betting Shops and Pools
Russian President Vladimir Putin has approved the list of instructions for the Government, including gambling legislative amendments. In particular, he has committed to impose a ban on combining the organization and holding of gambling in betting shops and betting pools at the legislative level. It is announced on the President’s official website.
According to the instructions of the President, the Government of the Russian Federation should adopt the legislative amendments until December 2.

According to the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC), the new rules of age verification and person identification procedures for online operators have become effective since May 7 after the public consultation. The updated regulation aims to make gambling companies to thoroughly check customer age and data. Amendments to the Licence Conditions and Codes of Practice (LCCP) apply to online betting and game providers, as well as to some interactive lotteries.
