Chile, Portugal or Germany? Bookmakers make different forecasts

Bookmakers accepting bets on the outcome of the Confederations Cup differed in opinion regarding the favorite of the tournament. Experts believe that Germany, Portugal and Chile have chances of winning, but as the main contender they name different teams.

The first tournament of the group stage as part of the Cup of Confederations is over. Group A is headed by the Russian team, which defeated New Zealand; In group B, Germany and Chile scored three points each.

Liga Stavok bookmaker believes that the possible winner may be Chile, Portugal or Germany. Stakes for each of these teams received a 3.5 coefficient.

William Hill gives preference to the German national team (bets on its victory are accepted with a coefficient of 3.25). To bet on Chile and Portugal is possible with 3.5 coefficient.

Such bookmakers as Fonbet and 1xStavka give big points to the Chilean team and offer the coefficient equal to 3.4 and 3.07, respectively. But the opinion on the second favorite is divided: while Fonbet believe that winner will be Germany (3.5), and Portugal is second in the list (3.6), 1xStavka assumes that the chances of Cristiano Ronaldo and his team are higher: 3.26 coefficient, and 3.48 for Germany.

The Confederation Cup is called the full rehearsal of the World Cup. Therefore, teams that show good results during the Confederation Cup 2017 will likely receive high odds for the victory in 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia.
