White Label Services: New gambling bill welcomed by Illinois business leaders
Business leaders spoke out in support of new legislation that proposes greater gaming freedoms across several major states in the US. Illinois bosses are only the latest group to make the headlines after having welcomed the arrival of SB 0744, which could be paving the way for fantastic new opportunities within the region, and white label services are looking forward for this to happen.
Organisations which include the Rockford Chamber of Commerce, the Rockford Area Economic Development Council, as well as the Rockford Area Convention & Visitors Bureau, endorsed the bill, saying that they would welcome a new Rockford casino in the area.
A letter that was issued to Governor Quinn argued that the new project would be playing a key role in fighting Rockford’s unemployment rate, which is currently standing at 10.7%, and white label services believe that it could be of great help. It said that the Rockford casino would be responsible for creating at the site approximately 1,300 long term jobs.
Additionally, over 400 construction jobs would be opening up over a period of 18 months, facilitating the project’s construction. Others also predict the emergence of openings in hospitality positions, as visitors, which include many people involved in white label, flock to the region in order to enjoy amenities such as shops, restaurants, and hotels.
While commenting on the subject, Building Trades Association President for Northwest Illinois revealed that the construction industry was going through a period that was particularly difficult. He said that the effect that the loss of jobs had on morale has been “devastating”, and white label services know how hard it must be for many people.
“A casino in Rockford means jobs and that all-important thing called ‘hope’. With the possibility of more than 1,700 new opportunities in employment, as well as the possibility of huge revenue, it’s very clear that the Rockford community, as well as many people involved in white label, will be eagerly anticipating Quinn’s verdict.
