Vnukovo Airport denies the existence of gambling zone at the territory of the airport

Five lottery and payment terminals were seized from the territory of the airport complex during the check.

Representatives of Vnukovo International Airport assured that there is no slot machines halls on its territory and employees of Main Directorate for Economic Security and Anti-Corruption Enforcement of MIA of Russia have seized five lottery and payment terminals, RIA Novosti reported.

"In response to information published in mass media about closure of slot machines hall in the airport complex by the police and involvement of the administration of airport "Vnukovo" in illegal activities, press service of the airport reports that there were no slot machines halls at the territory of airport " - "Vnukovo" states.

Yet it is stated that employees of Main Directorate for Economic Security and Anti-Corruption Enforcement of MIA of Russia have seized five lottery and payment terminals from the territory of the airport complex.

As explained in the press service of the airport, agreement on lease of areas for the installation of lottery payment and terminals between PJSC "Vnukovo" and West Ltd. was made in April 2013. The tenant has provided all necessary documents.

Currently, agreement on lease with West Ltd. is terminated, airport reported.

Earlier Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation reported that the ethnic group organized illegal gambling zone in "Vnukovo", and it brought multi-million dollar income, but police stopped its activity.
