NagaCorp Ltd to start the construction of a casino in Primorye in November

Resident of the Primorye gambling zone, Malaysian corporation NagaCorp Ltd, will start the construction of a hotel casino.

According to investor’s plans, the first stage of the project will include the construction of 11-storey building that will house a casino, a hotel and a concert hall.

The cost of the project is estimated at $70 million.                  

The facility is scheduled to become operational in 18 months. A waterpark will be built at the second stage. Company is planning to complete the construction of the casino and entertainment complex by 2021.

As of September 1, the regional budget received RUB 86.6 million of gambling tax. Authorities are expecting to receive over RUB 153 million in the end of the year, and everything seems to suggest that these expectations won’t come true.
