Inventive bookmakers receive bets on a new trend of the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup – ruled-out goals
20.06.2017

Referees of the first semifinal asked to replay several moments for a couple of times. As a result, they called off two goals. Inventive bookmakers quickly caught the trend and offered their clients a new type of bets – how many goals would be called off after a video replay.

The betting company “Liga Stavok” set such coefficients for ruled-out goals:

  • 2,65 – over three goals are called off after replay;
  • 1,45 – three or less goals are cancelled;
  • 1, 75 – more than two goals are disallowed at the group stage;
  • 2,0 – two or less goals are waved off at the group stage.

As reported previously, referees called off goals in the matches Portugal – Mexico and Cameroon – Chile. The video showed that the Portuguese and the Chilean were in the offside at the moment of attack.
