Macau Casino Gambling Revenue May Rise 40% This Month, CLSA Says

Macau casino gambling revenue in the first 15 days of August rose 51 percent from a year ago to 7.9 billion patacas, CLSA analyst Aaron Fischer said in a note to clients today.

SJM Holdings Ltd.’s market share fell to 29 percent from 32 percent while Melco Crown Entertainment Ltd.’s increased to 19 percent from 15 percent, and Galaxy Entertainment Group Ltd.’s grew to 14 percent from 12 percent, Fischer said.

The market share for Wynn Resorts Ltd. fell to 13 percent from 15 percent, Sands China Ltd. had 18 percent and MGM Resorts International’s venture with Pansy Ho had 7 percent, he said.
