The Government of the Russian Federation approved the ban of funds transfer to online casinos

The Government of the Russian Federation submitted a bill to the State Duma, according to which the banks shall not transfer funds to the accounts of illegal gambling companies.

The document implies the revision of the effective laws "On the lotteries" and "On state regulation of gambling". According to the planned innovations, tax authorities will make a registry of lottery, online betting and gambling operators that are avoiding regulations.

Banks and payment systems providers will be obliged to block the attempts of individuals or organizations to transfer funds to the representatives of the abovementioned list.
