One can find first products of Mail.ru Group, designed for the international market in Google Play and App Store. These are games Jungle Heat and Poker Arena, released under the trademark My.com.
Controversial is the fact that the second game is poker where chips are to be purchased for real money. Reverse operation to convert chips to currency is not provided. According to Head of Legal Department of Coordination Center for TLD Sergey Kopylov, if such a feature is added, then the company is breaking the law on state regulation of activities on organization and conduct of gambling. Why Mail.ru Group to take such a risk, the company did not say.
According to the analyst of company "Finam" Leonid Delitsyn, this is development of games and mobile applications that can become promising direction for international expansion of Mail.ru Group. "The era of smart phones is coming, fresh audience having no loyalty to popular services is starting to use it", he explains. Now it is difficult to become a world leader in e-mail and social services.
