EiG 2013 opens
The 12th European iGaming Congress and Expo opened this morning, as Fira Barcelona once again welcomed the international i-gaming community to the Catalan capital.
Initial impressions are of a busier first morning than last year, with visitors crowded in the exhibition centre’s south entrance lobby awaiting the 11am kick-off.
The change of hall (to Hall 1) for 2013, has given the show floor a little more breathing space with a broad central avenue as the floor’s main thoroughfare.
The early highlights include six-time Grand Slam-winning tennis legend Boris Becker officially opening the event (pictured).
Elsewhere, a buzz was already building at the Microgaming Bar and at the eye-catching stands of Bally, Williams Interactive and Sheriff Gaming.
