BEGE’ 2010 and EEGS’ 2010 post event review

52 companies from Europe, Middle East, Asia and North America , including Bulgaria, Canada, France, Germany, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Italy, Malta, Taiwan, UK, USA and Dubai exhibited at the BEGE Expo and BEGE FUN. Introduced were the latest products for gaming, amusement and entertainment centers, hotels and casinos. More than 2800 visitors from different countries attended the events. The annual BEGE Awards ceremony, distinguished persons and companies for their input to the progress of the entertainment and gaming industry in the South-eastern Europe. Companies, supporting the Responsible Gaming project in Bulgaria were also acknowledged. 

Top experts representing gaming associations, institutions, international consulting firms were speakers at the Eastern European Gaming Summit, which had as a keynote speaker the Chairman of the Bulgarian Gaming Commission, Mr. Kaloyan Krastev,  The focus was on the Eastern European countries - changes in the regulatory environment, challenges and opportunities, online gaming, forecasts and trends for the region. Representatives of the Gaming Associations of Serbia, Croatia, Romania, Greece, Bulgaria, Republic of Macedonia, Austria, Germany and Poland analyzed the country specifics. Additional opinions were presented by representatives of International Masters of the Gaming Law /IMGL/ and European Gaming and Amusement Federation /EUROMAT/. The latest developments on online gaming regulations were introduced at the panel for online gaming operators with representatives from Betfair, Offsidegaming and Olympic Entertainment Group. The casino operators’ prospective on the future of the gaming markets in the region was expressed in a discussion between Grand Casino Beograd, Club Hotel Casino Loutraki and Hotel Casino International

Bringing up and maintaining a positive PR image for the industry was one of the topics discussed between US experts and PR specialists. The mechanisms and tools for maintaining a positive public awareness about the gaming sector were outlined.  On focus this year again was the responsible gaming and the role of the business. The Responsible gaming project “Play Wisely” launched by the Bulgarian Gaming Association (BTAMOGI), alongside with the opinion of partnering therapists were part of the discussion.

EEGS Masterclass, received high interest, with the two seminars focusing on the Psychology of the Customer Service and the Effective Staff Management. The seminars were introduced in collaborative partnerships with the Bulgarian Human Resources Management and Development Association - BHRMDA and the leading Business Training Center ’Arthur Adams’.

BEGE and EEGS are looking forward to continue the tradition to bring together the gaming and entertainment industry from Eastern Europe and South Eastern region and be the leading place for present the latest trends and achievements.
